NEW DESIGN ROPS NOTES:

Any NEW VEHICLES being built will need to meet the new specification ROPS in full (published 24 August 2020). Please refer to Section 5 of the Rules for details.

Any CURRENTLY LOGBOOKED vehicles must have the required updates (see below) to compete.

Any NON-LOGBOOKED vehicles with a cage that was compliant prior to the 24 August 2020 must have the required updates (see below) added to compete. This work must be completed by 31 December 2024.  After 1 January 2025, all NON-LOGBOOKED vehicles will be treated as a new build.  Anyone wishing to exercise this option should work closely with the Chief Scrutineer to ensure they comply.

The required updates are:

A Pillar Bar

Horizontal door bar near floor level

It is also strongly recommended that the second door bar also be installed
